“This case is not a challenge to legislative prayers, generally; and it is not a challenge to offensive prayers, particularly,” the complaint, filed on Sunday, states. “We take no issue with the fact that the City permits many congregations to invoke Jesus before council
meetings. We just want an equal opportunity — one guaranteed by the Constitution — to invoke Satan.” It explains that the City allows its council members to select those who will pray during council meetings, but in doing so, most of the invocations presented are either Christian, Muslim or Jewish.

Published Saturday, the article by Sara McCammon found that liberal Catholics in America may have finally found their mascot in Joe Biden.
“For those who would like to see the church take a more permissive stance on issues including abortion, Biden’s election is an opportunity,” wrote McCammon. “Polling suggests a majority of American Catholics support abortion rights in most or all cases and oppose overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide. According to the Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights, most Catholic women say they’ve used contraception at some point, which the church also opposes,” she added. The family of a 13-year-old sexual assault victim plans to ask the Supreme Court of India to allow her to abort her late-term unborn baby.
Authorities said the young girl from Goregaon, India is in shock about the pregnancy and has not spoken about how the sexual assault occurred, according to The Hindu. Abortions are illegal after 20 weeks of pregnancy in India. However, women increasingly have been petitioning the high court for permission to abort their late-term unborn babies because of fetal abnormalities. Some families of young rape victims also have made requests to the high court. The girl’s parents took her to the doctor recently after they noticed that she was gaining weight rapidly, the report states. Doctors discovered that she was pregnant, currently about 27 weeks, One News India reports. READ MORE HERE Source: CNSNews.com

STORRS, CONN. Carrying golf clubs, shovels and hockey sticks, several hundred University of Connecticut students gathered just before midnight in a cemetery, ready to do battle with menacing clowns they had heard might be lurking among the headstones. Police determined that Monday’s clown rumors were a hoax. But dozens of similar reports have surfaced across the country, largely on social media. And authorities are being forced to take them seriously as a potential threat to public safety, particularly at schools, where principals have conducted lockdowns and canceled classes. By: MICAIAH BILGER Many Judeo-Christian leaders speak out against abortion, but the few who advocate for abortion often are the ones who get the most media attention. On Monday in Kentucky, pro-abortion clergy held a rally at the State Capitol to advocate for abortion and other issues, the State-Journal reports. The event was called the Higher Ground Moral Day of Action, and it was held in conjunction with other rallies nation-wide.
